1)Okay so let's say I have 2 answer a question with fractions and at the bottom it says i have to answer as a mixed number. So I go through the problem and I get a big numbers, should i simplify that and than turn it into a mixed number or right away should I just turn it into a mixed number.

2)Also I had to do a math assignment online and I was trying to answer a question and it said simplify, so I did and I got 15/1, and I left it as 15. I ended up getting the question wrong when the answer was 15 over 1. Should I always leave the number over a 1?

1) It is best to leave the simplification to the end, unless you can cancel out or simplify earllier ~ sorry but it does depend upon the problem & how you see it !

2) I think you should be marked 'correct' on this as all whole numbers are technically over a 1 !

The answer to both questions is fractions should always be simplified unless otherwise stated in the instructions.
