If you express tan90° into sin and cos then it just comes tan90° = 1/0.

just try to divide any number by 0. try to get the result, you wont find the proper quotient.

Because any number multiplied by zero gives the result 0 (zero).

0×1 = 0

0×2 = 0

0×3 = 0

0×4 = 0

.

.

0×100 = 0

0×101 = 0

.

.

like this.

Now you can not put any number in the place of quotient. Because all of them give the same result.

That's why it is undefined. But remind, it is not infinitive. Infinitive is something different. Infinitive is defined where the value is very high, even higher than we can think high as much as possible.

The same is true geometrically also. If we go to draw a triangle for finding the value of tan90°, then the angle between base and hypotenuses should be 90°. And once you made this angle, you never can make the triangle, because, in this case, two parallel line will be drawn on the base and they will never meet. It is impossible to draw the triangle in this condition. It also indicate that tan 90° is just undefined.

The figure will come almost like this, which is not a triangle no more. it is not defined at all.

perpendicular |___| hypotenuses

.....................base

[I tried to draw the figure as much as possible]

Self tanning products are used most often by those who are aware of the health riscks of lying in the sun all day. Tanning salons aren't the best option either because they are expensive or because they give you the look of being baked. Using self tanning products is cheaper than a salon, faster and safe way to get that healthy tanned look. In order to help you sort out the possibilities you'll need to continue reading the information in this answer.

If you like options and variety, then you'll like what you discover with self sun tanning products. There are lotions, sprays, creams and powders. You may find it necessary to try several products before deciding, or finding, that special solution that is perfect for you. In general, it's the active ingredients in the product rather than the way it's applied that will determine how effective it is. But your preference for application is unique, and you may want to use a spray over something else, for example. It's widely felt that DHA is the best tanning agent in self tanning products, so that is something you may want to check for on the label.

Any product that says you can get a healthy tan look by ingesting it is probably one you'll want to steer clear of. canthaxanthin is the main ingredient in these ingestibles which you can also find in food. While if you ingest large quantities of this, your skin color will change, it may not be to your liking, as it's very hard to control the outcome with a product you take internally. A more serious issue is that tanning pills may not be safe, and their use as a tanning agent has not been approved by the FDA. There may be serious side effects to taking large amounts of canthaxanthin, so this is a self tanning option you should be careful of.

Not all self tanning products are the same or equal, and there are a few that have qualities you probably won't like. Some of these effects include a greasy feel to them, and then that will stain your clothes - and probably won't wash out. Other bad effects include producing a smell that we're sure you won't want to smell like. The self tanning lotions that are higher quality do have a very slight odor, but it's not easy to notice. Not all of these companies are upfront, and those that produce the unpleasant effects won't tell you on their labels. One nice thing about the net is that if there's a bad product, you're sure to find angry people talking about it. It is tough to figure out which self sun tanning product is good for you because there's quite a variety on the market. You may color differently from other people, and because of that it's hard to know which is the right one for you to use. However, if you find one that works great for you, then you're good to go and can keep using it. Our information presented on self tanning products is solid, and you can use it to begin your search for that great tan.

i can simply define it for you ....

all trigonometric ratios like sine cosine tangent etc are based on right angled triangle.it do have three sides..1)hypotenuse

2)one side

3)second side

visualize a right triangle right angled at the right side of it,so it has a right angle(90) at the right,an acute angle on the left and an acute angle on top.when we see from left corner or angle of the triangle, we see its opposite side.and the side other than hypotenuse is the adjacent side.

let the angle be 30 degree on the left side first, and see when we increase the angle on the left to 45,50,60,70 etc the opposite side must be larger and larger to maintain it as a right triangle...

and at the point the angle is made to 90 degrees, however the opposite be increased its never gonna make it a triangle,,,becoz its already 180 degrees..so its not possible or it cannot be defined

the tan 90 degree is not defined is it because when you draw the graph for it in your junior college you will come to know as it tan 90 degrees is disconnected!!

It is undefined. The tangent of an angle is the same as the slope of the angle. Since this is a vertical angle, the slope and tangent are undefined.

1/0 it is. May be will be case with this.

if you look at the graph, the line gets infinitely steeper close to 90 degrees, but never actually touches it, tan(90) would be infinitely high.

tan90 degree is undefined

because tan=sin/cos

and at cos90

cos=0

so tan90=1/0

Tan 9o=p/b only when p=h and b->o

Tan 9o=p/o= Infinite
