Why is zero by zero called an indeterminate form?

Question

If zero by zero is called an indeterminate form, then even zero into zero should also be indeterminate.But it is said to be zero.So then zero by zero should be zero according to me.

0/0 = indeterminate and 0.0= 0 is not indeterminate as we are getting an exact value.



I would be better for you if you discuss it with your math teacher. He will teach you INDETERMINATE FORMS chapter well, and after studying that, you'll never ask this doubt again.

see itz very simple...

as u r saying that it should be zero by following the fact that zero divided by anything is zero...but u r forgetting that anything upon zero is infinity...so there r two outcomes...n we cant choose anyone over the other so it is indeterminate....

it goes with other indeterminate forms also...like infinity by infinity...

think that way n u will see that why all the seven forms are called indeterminate...

or 0/0 =1--

0x2 =0

or 0/0 =2

0x0 = indeterminate
