Z- Zero as in solving quadratic roots. Y- can represent linear functions such as y = mx+b X- is a variable polynomial with n amount of powers W- The shape of two absolute value |x| functions? haha J- is a variable that can represent vectors Sorry, that's all I could come up with. This is hard!

Z is also used to represent the (signed) integers Z = { ..., -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, ... }. I think that comes from a German word (Zahlen? I don't really remember).

The Paradox is associated with Xeno not Zeno. It is pronounced as though it were a z though, as are Xerxes, xylophone, Xanthippe. There was no z in the Greek alphabet, if I recall correctly.
