I have a Casio fx-83MS calculator, and I can't figure out how to put it into radian mode. I have tried the mode button, but all that comes up are: Lin, Log, Exp, Pwr, Inv, Quad
Is radian mode one of those? :S
Thanks

There are two steps.
1. Press the mode key until you see a menu that look like this:
Deg Rad Gra
..1 ....2 ....3
2. Press 1, 2 or 3 corresponding to the angle mode you wish to be in. [2] would be radians. [1] i s degrees and [3] would be grads which hardly anyone uses any more. (A Grad is 1/100 of a right angle. You divide a right angle into 100 parts instead of the usual 90. Applications include artillary. You will never use this.)

For Casio scientific calculators press the shift key and then the mode button. A list of options will come up, to get it into radians press the number 4 which says RAD.
Hope This Helps

If you press the mode button enough times, you'll see a screen that says
Deg Rad Gra
1 2 3
Press 2 and you're in radians mode.
