I'm in AP Statistics and I can never remember which it is. For example, when asked to plot Size vs Time, does the Size go on the Y or X-axis?

Y + Y = 2Y why you ask? we could say Y is a million cupcake: so istead of y + y you have: a million cupcake + a million cupcake = 2 cupakes Y x Y = Y^2 ( y squared) Why you ask? we could say Y is two so as a replace of having Y x Y yo have: 2 x 2 = 4 4 is comparable to 2^2 (2 squared) that's with the aid of fact 2 can flow in it 2 situations basically like 25 = 5^2 (5 squared) that's with the aid of fact 5 can flow in it 5 situations (5x5) to assist you realize it extra we could take: Y x Y x Y = Y^3 (Y cubed) basically like 2^3 (2 cubed) is 8 (2x2x2) or an elementary way while multipling any letter: count selection the quantity of the letters tbat can grant the index selection (the small selection that's above the letter) was hoping I helped you realize it!

usually you have the y-axis labeled first like if you are heating something you are doing temperature vs. time where temperature is going up and down
