Can you find a very common function f(x) such that f(3)f(5)f(7) = f(10)?

Note that there are many functions (infinite actually!) that can be made to fit the above solution. But we’re looking for a very well known and simple function. :) [its not f(x) = 0, f(x) = 1 or f(x) = -1]

How about f(x) = x / sqrt(10.5)

Or f(x) = x - 2.373

The above guy got it. It's x!

How about f(x) = sin(x*pi)

sin(3pi)*(sin(5pi)*sin(7pi) = 0

sin(10pi) = 0

f(x!),xEN

f(3).f(5).f(7)=f(10)

f(x)=a^(x-2.5)

This is one valid function.
