let the 5 Rs coin be x

Then the 2rs coin be 3x

Total amuont

from Rs 5=5*x=5x

from Rs2=2*3x=6x

Total=6x+5x=11x

sum os all rs=77

A/q

11x=77

x=77/11

x=7

The 5 Rs coin =x=7

Then the 2rs coin =3x=3*7=21

let the number of notes be x

let the no. of notes of rs 50 be 3x

let the no. of notes of rs 20 be 5x

but she has total no of notes =25

then no. of notes of rs 10=25-(5x+3x)

=25-8x

total amount from

Rs 50=50*3x=150x

Rs 20=20*5x=100x

Rs 10=10*(25-8x)=250-80x

hence total amount=170x+250

total currency is 590 rs

A/q

170x+250=590

170x=590-250

170x=340

x=340/170

x=2

the no. of notes of rs 50 is 3x=3*2=6

the no. of notes of rs 20 is 5x=5*2=10

no. of notes of rs 10=25-8x=25-8*2

=25-16

=9

Q1)Bansi has 3 times as many 2 rupees coins as he has 5 rupees coins.If he has in all a sum of rs 77.How many...? :

if he has 3 times more rs2 than rs5,

then ratio is 3:1

so thats rs6+rs5= 11rs

rs77/rs11 = 7

therefore he has:

7x3 = 21 (rs2)

and

7x1 = 7 (rs5)

Q2) Deveshi has a total of Rs 590 as a currency notes in the denomination Rs50,Rs20,andRs10.The ratio of the number of Rs 50 and Rs 20 notes is 3:5.If she has a total of 25 notes.How many notes of each denomination has ?

ratio of rs 50 to rs 20 is 3:5

therefor:

50x3 = 150

20x5 = 100

therefor;

150+100 = 250

total of Rs = 590

now:

590/250 = 2 remainder 90

this shows you have:

9 (RS 10)

5x2 = 10 (RS 20)

3x2 = 6 (RS 50)

if you have more of either the RS 20 or RS 50 notes it will ruin the ratio.

permit the style of money be X. The on the beginning up there have been X, a million rupee money and its fee is a million.X rupees, X, 2 rupee money and its fee is two.X rupees X, 5 rupee money and its fee is 5.X rupees as quickly as the 5 rupee money removed from the gadget, then the soundness is Rs one hundred and five and is largely a million and a couple of Rs money So a million.X + 2.X = one hundred and five 3 X = one hundred and five X = 35 for this reason the gadget contained 35 equivalent variety of money of a million Rs 2 Rs & 5 Rs

Q1) Let the number of Rs.5 coins be x.

value of these coins is = Rs.(5x)

number of Rs.2 coins = 3x

value of these coins = Rs.(6x)

Form an equation as follows,

5x+6x=77

Solve it and you will get the answer as,

Rs.2 coins = 7

Rs.5 coins = 21

Q2) Let the common measure be x.

Ratio=3x:5x

Form an equation as follows,

150x+100x+10(25-8x)=590

250x+250-80x=590

Solve it and you will get the answer as,

Rs.10 notes= 9

Rs.20 notes= 10

Rs.50 notes= 6

T is the number of two rupee coins and F is the number of 5 rupee coins

T = 3F

2 T + 5F = 77

substituting for F

2(3F) + 5F = 77

11 F = 77

F = 7

T = 21

Q2)

R50 + R20 + R10 = 25 : eqn 1

50 R50 + 20 R20 + 10 R10 = 590 or 5 R50 + 2 R20 + R10 = 59 : eqn 2

R50 / R20 = 3/5: R50 = 3/5 R20 : eqn 3

substituting into 2nd eqn

5 R20 + R10 = 59

substituting eqn 3 into eqn 1

8/5 R20 + R10 = 25

subtracting

(5 - 8/5) R20 = 34

17/5 R20 = 34

R20 = 170/17 = 10

5(10) + R10 = 59

R10 = 9

R50 + 10 + 9 = 25

R50 = 6

R50 = 6

R20 = 10

R10 = 9

If 5 rs coins = x, then 2 rs coins = 3x.

Total amount = 6x + 5x = 7x = 77 => x = 7.

=> 5 Rs coins = 7, 2 Rs coins = 21.
