Question:
how difficult is linear algebra I?

i'm thinking of taking it in the spring but i've heard some mixed reviews which left me very weary. i've concluded that there are different levels of linear algebra. i think the one i'm taking is elementary because it only has high school prerequisites (pre-calculus or applied math). people online are talking about how you need calculus, differential equations and blah blah for prerequisites. @ my school linear algebra II is the one that has those prerequisites, however linear algebra I has none like I said.

these are the topics in the course description for linear algebra I,
"This is an introduction to fundamental results concerning systems of linear equations, matrices, determinants, properties of complex numbers, vector geometry, and vector space properties of n-dimensional Euclidean space"

Is this difficult? I completed calculus I and II with no problems... Would it be difficult to take this in the spring?

Thanks!

Honestly, linear algebra was one of the easier math classes I’ve taken.

Differential equations was the hardest.

Just my opinion I guess….

the ingredient approximately linear algebra, and why maximum individuals discover it relatively worry-free, is that (for the main area) each little thing you may anticipate to be genuine, easily is. vector areas, as mathematical structures, are o.k.-behaved. and it would not harm that for dimensions a million,2 and 3, we are able to easily visualize what is going on, by ability of pondering the area we live in. the applications that linear algebra investigates are, um, linear. which ability they at the instant are not that complicated. in case you already know what a line and a airplane are, then you relatively comprehend what a linear function is. the "algebra" area, has an worry-free geometric interpretation. and linear stuff....there is no curves...each little thing is (for loss of a better word) "on the instant". word in basic terms that, yet merely as elementary algebra (from severe college) has an arithmetic of numbers, linear algebra has an arithmetic, too...matrices. meaning you are able to turn any "precis" thought, right into a tangible trustworthy-to-god numerical matrix you are able to artwork out with extensive-unfold arithmetic skills. linear algebra "is clever". this is no longer the marvel to the equipment that calculus, or group thought may well be. what we intuitively have faith ought to artwork out, easily does.

I heard that Linear Algebra is easy. It's half pure math and half applied math.
