A) 0
B) 1
C) –8
D) Undefined

16. Find the slope of the line passing through the points (10, –4) and (3, 8).

22. Which of the ordered pairs
(0, 0), (–2, 10), (–1, –5), (–3, 9)

for finding the slope, all you have to do is substitute. So for the first problem, it says to find the slopes that passes through (10,-6) and (2,-6). First the equation is m=Y2+Y1

---------

X2+X1

So it's -6-6 because a negative times a positive is a negative, or to make things easier it's -6+-6, it's the same thing. It equals -12. Next substitute the two "x", it will be 10+2 and that equals 12. So it is -12/12, and you have to simplify, so your answer is -1, NOT 1. #16 is the same procedure as the first number. Now #22 is easier, solution means a number equals a number (10=10, 8=8, and so on) and by the looks of it, the answer is (0,0). substitute "y" with 0, take 5*0, thats 0, so the problem will look like this: 0=5*0, then like i said it equals 0. So it's 0=0.

10. locate the slope of the line passing for the duration of the factors (–2, 3) and (–5, 6). m = (y2-y1)/ (x2 -x1) = 6-3 / -5 - -2 = 3/-3 = -a million # 3 11. locate the slope of a line it is perpendicular to the line that has an equation of 2x = a million/2 y + 4. 2x - 4 = a million/ 2y 4x - 8 = a million/y hence y = x/4 - a million/8 # a million 12. locate the slope of a line it is parallel to the line that has an equation of a million/3x + 2/3y = 2. Multiply via 3 x + 2y = 6 2y = -x +6 y = -x/2 + 3 # a million Your answer: what's your source? learn the regulations so which you would be able to paintings them out your self. good success.

A) 0

Slope = 0 because the two y-values are the same.

It is a horizontal line.

16. Slope = [8-(-4)] / (3-10) = 12/-7 = -12/7

22. (0,0), (-1, -5)

23. Slope = (6-5) / (1-5) = 1/(-4) = -1/4

i know the answer but i dont feel like answering, the formula for slope is y2-y1 over x2-x1
