There is no way to tell. We have not even touched the surface of the universe. Jupiter is the largest in our Milky Way solar system. Universe is too broad a question and it is virtually infinite as far as we are concerned.

I can tell how they are detected. Large planets cause their stars to oscillate as they move around the galaxy. from the total trajectory, you can say if there is a planet. the other way is to observe faint changes in light from them
