I have a TI-84 Texas Instruments graphic calculator. I am trying to make a program, in which I HAVE to include "X mod 7". mod is the abbreviation for 'modulo operation'.

The problem is, I can't seem to find any button for mod. Therefore, can anybody tell me where it is? And if there isn't a button for mod, then what could I substitute 'mod' with in "X mod 7"

The TI-84 Plus (SE) calculator doesn't have a modulo operation, unfortunately.

Instead of X mod 7, you'll have to use a workaround. You could try this:

:7fPart(X/7

Theoretically, this should work for any integer M, where in the above case M = 7.

The TI 84 calculator is a very good calculator but i think i would go with the 89 just read up on how to use it if you know how to use it it will be 2 times as powerful as the 84
