X, Y, Z are matrix

I know that matrix multiplication is associative (XY)Z=X(YZ)

so just to make sure can you put any order so for example XYZ=XZY or YXZ etc..?

matrix multiplication is not commutative, so XYZ does not equal XZY or YXZ or any other combination..

by definition, matrix multiplication is not commutative

so generally, XY is not the same as YX
