well it is 4 mins
because if the 4. 4
was five or above it would be rounded to 5
so the answer would be 5 mins
but if it is four or less like this question
then you just round down
to 4 simples

Same as all other rounded numbers.
The number after the decimal is under 5, round down .
If the number after the decimal was 5 or higher, then round up.
4.415625 goes down to 4.
If it had been 4 min, 41 sec, then it would go up, since out of a possible 60 seconds, it was 41, which passes the half minute marker at 30 seconds. That would be something like 4.683333 seconds. Since it started in decimal format for you, just go by the standard rules.

You look at the number after the decimal, if its 5 or higher, you round up, but if its lower than 5 it stays the same.
Im not gonna give you the answer
(Heres a trick, if youre rounding a number, it may look scary if theres so many numbers, but the only number needed is the number to the right of the number you need to round, whether its five or over or under five)

Its just like rounding to the nearest whole number. 4.415... has tenth digit 4<5. Thus, we round down to 4.

4 minutes. If it was 4.5+ it'd be 5 minutes.

take it as 4.4 minutes because 0.01 min=0.6 seconds.
i hope that is a much smaller quantity and can be ignored!
