In triangle XYZ, measure of angle Z is two more than twice of meausure of angle X, and measure of angle Y is seven less than twice of measure than twice of measure of angle X. What is the meausre of each angle?
how would you find the measure of the angles???

its easy if you draw the picture then write each angle in terms of x
you get angle x being x
and y 2x-7
and z 2x+2
then add those all together and set them equal to 180 - the number of degrees in a triangle
x+2x+2+2x-7=180
5x-5=180
5x=185
x=37
so thats the measure of angle x
to find y - plug in 37 for x
so 2(37)-7
74-7=67
z - 2(37)+2
74+2=76
to check add them all up and they should equal 180
37+67+76=180
There you're done!!

triangle XYZ, , measure of angle Z is two more than twice of meausure of angle X,
1) z = 2x + 2
measure of angle Y is seven less than twice of measure than twice of measure of angle X.
2) y = 2x - 7
Sum of angles
3) x + y + z = 180
x + (2x - 7) + (2x + 2) = 180 {substitute for y & z from equations 2 & 1
x + 2x - 7 + 2x + 2 = 180
5x - 5 = 180
5x = 185
x = 37
1) z = 2(37) + 2 = 74 + 2 = 76
2) y = 74 - 7 = 67
check
37 + 67 + 76 = 180
180 = 180

permit x = indoors perspective permit y = exterior perspective indoors angles and outdoors angles are complementary: x+y = a hundred and eighty x = 38y + 24 a hundred and eighty-y = 38y + 24 39y = 156 y = 4 the exterior perspective = 4 Sum of all exterior angles of a closed polygon is 360. on the grounds that it rather is a familiar polygon, all exterior angles are equivalent. Sum of exterior angles is the made from the variety of components and the diploma of the attitude. 4n = 360 n = ninety The polygon has ninety components. ...
