Guess your age math trick

Try this cool math trick. This is not one of those waste of time things, it’s fun. It takes less than a minute. Work this out as you read …

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once but less than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)

3. Add 5

4. Multiply it by 50 — I’ll wait while you get the calculator

5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1756 …. If you haven’t, add 1755.

6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number

The first digit of this was your original number (i.e, how many times you want to have chocolate each week).

The next two numbers are >> YOUR AGE!

Hehe, don’t be so surprised. You know, this is a math trick. You probably have entered enough information to calculate your age along the 6 steps.

To Sweaves: Your trick doesn't work anymore, it needs to be updated, it's 2 years off

There is no way to guess someone's age mathmatically without their Date of Birth without just having a lucky guess

ask them to write down a number (doesn't matter the size)

You can't see it, but o well

Have subject add digits of the number

subtract the digit sum from number itself

Have them add age

Have subject read digits in random order (add in head as they're reading)

add or subtract multiples of 9 until you arrive at what might be thier age. (Make sure you're not over!!)
