I know how to find the area for a Semi-Circle and Quarter Circle (Divide by 4 at the end right?)
Anyway, i'm not sure how to do a 3 quarter Circle.
Im guessing you go through the steps as you would with the normal area. Just not sure what to divide by.

Same as a 1/2 circle and 1/4 circle really. Just do the usual way, divide by 4 to get 1/4 circle and then multiply by 3 to get 3/4s

Area of Circle = pi x r^2

where:

pi = 3.142 or 22/7

r is the radius of the circle

To find partial circle, just multiply by the fraction,

(1/4) x pi x r^2 ..... for quarter circle

(1/2) x pi x r^2 ..... for half a circle

(3/4) x pi x r^2 ..... for 3/4 of a circle

Simply find the area of the circle and multiply that by (3/4) or .75, since this is the relative size of a three-quarter circle to a normal circle.

when you find the area of the area of the entire circle, you just multiply the answer by 3/4 or 0.75 to find the area of three quarter of the circle

I assume a 3/4 circle is just 3/4 of a full circle. To get 3/4 of the area of a full circle just multiply the area of a complete circle by 3/4 or 0.75.

Area of a complete circle = πR²

Area of 1/4 of a circle = (1/4)*πR² = πR²/4

Area of 1/2 of a circle = (1/2)*πR² = πR²/2

Area of 3/4 of a circle = (3/4)*πR² = 3πR²/4

Area of 7/8 of a circle = (7/8)*πR² = 7πR²/8

etc.

Dead right... π x r² = Area of a circle. (π x r²) / 4 = Area of the ¼ circle. = 3.142 x 14cm x 14cm = 615.832cm² / 4 = 153.96cm² (154cm²).

3/4 (pi) radius^2

Or 3/4 the area of a normal circle.

3/4(Pi r^2)
