My Tan(x) Graph is messed up on my TI-84 Silver Plus Calculator?

It connects the asymptotes, does not go up or down infinitely, and look like a heartbeat chart on one of those heartbeat monitor things.

I would rather not reset the entire calculator as I have helpful programs that a tutor who moved helped me make.

has this happened to you, and what did you do?

Check the angle mode and the window settings. Make sure that the window settings are appropriate for the angle mode.

If radians, maybe: -6.28 < x < 6.28, -5 < y < 5

If degrees, maybe: -360 < x < 360, -5 < y < 5

Hi.

No this have never happened to mine. But the calculator always gets messed up when it get used for a long time as settings are all over the place.

If i were you i would try to reset only settings and not Ram. something like shift and a button above enter. You should know that.

When i reset my whole calculator, erasing the RAM, none of my apps disappear. I don't know if it would happen to yours.

I would recommend that you reset the whole calculator. if you are sitting for an exam they will erase you calculator by erasing the ram. if the apps that are not supposed to be there are erased then you should get used to stop using them as then you would not have them for the exam,

I used polysmlt2 and it stays there all the time. i'm not sure if it is integrated inside but i had to install it.

You can reset without losing the programs.

Press 2nd > memory > mem management > scroll down to Pgrm (#7) > hit enter on every program you want to save. A star/asterik will appear in front of the programs name to let you know it's been archived.

Now you can 2nd > memory > reset > all ram > reset and save your programs

after clearing go back into mem management and unarchive all the programs. you won't be able to execute them while archived.
