if w= -1/4 and x=1/2, wx + x^4

-------------------------------------------

if w = -1/4 and x = 1/2, then what is (wx + x^4) ?

Substitute the values of w and x in to the expression (wx + x^4); That is

( - 1/4).(1/2) + (1/2)^4

= - 1/8 + 1/16

= - 2/16 + 1/16

= - 1/16

-----------

Hope this helps!
