set up a unit multiplier.......

$10/1hour * 1hour/60 min so you get $.167/1minute * 1minute/60 seconds so you get $.00278/1second

RE: Babysitting rate: $10 per day for 6-8 hours a day? A friend of mine agreed that $10 a day would be good to babysit her 13 1/2 month old son. Im a stay at home mom for now and i have a 16 1/2 month old son too. We had set up that i would be the permanent babysitter but then that same week i found out i had to move. Im still only 10-15 minutes away...

1. Divide how much you get paid per hour by 60 (the number of minutes) so 10 divided by 60 would be about .17 cents a minutes.

2. Divide what you earn a minutes by 60, the number of seconds in minute. so .17 divided by 60 so you would earn .003 cents per second.

Are you serious?? You can't do that simple of math nd ur gettin paid ten dollars an hour?..... let me try to make this simple..

60 minutes in an hour. So you divide 10.00 by 60. That gives you about 0.17..17 cents. Divide that by 60 to get seconds. That gives you 0.003 about. So 3/10 of a penny a second.

$10.00 per hour

so you would divide 10 ($) by 60 (minutes in an hour)

10.00/60 = $0.1666 recurring per minute (rounded = $0.17)

so if you are getting paid $0.1666 recurring per minute, you would divide that 60 again as there are 60 seconds in a minute.

$0.1666 recurring/60 = $0.002777 recurring.

And when/ if you write these numbers down, make sure to put a dot over the last number instead of writing the word 'recurring'.

Hope This Helps Dude!!

Divide hourly wage by 60 equals wages per minute.

Divide that figure by 60 to equal wages per second (or divide hourly wage by 3600, the number of seconds in an hour)
