F(x) = 3x³ - 2x² - 8x - 13

F(5) = 3(5)³ - 2(5)² - 8(5) - 13

F(5) = 3(125) - 2(25) - 8(5) - 13

F(5) = 375 - 50 - 40 - 13

F(5) = 325 - 53

F(5) = 272

F(x) = x³ + 4x² - 15x + 19

F(-6) = (-6)³ + 4(-6)² - 15(-6) + 19

F(-6) = (-6)³ + 4(36) - 15(-6) + 19

F(-6) = -216 + 144 + 90 + 19

F(-6) = -72 + 109

F(-6) = 37

F(x) = 7x² + 13x - 50

F(0) = 7(0)² + 13(0) - 50

F(0) = 0 + 0 - 50

F(0) = -50

F(x) = x⁵⁶ - 5x² + 4

F(1) = 1⁵⁶ - 5(1)² + 4

F(1) = 1 - 5 + 4

F(1) = -4 + 4

F(1) = 0

Given the polynomial f(x)=3x^3-2x^2-8x-13, find f(5)?

3*5^3 - 2*5^2 - 8*5 -13

3*125 - 2*25 - 40 - 13

375 - 50 - 53

272

Given the polynomial F(x) = x3 + 4x2 - 15x + 19, find F(-6).

-6^3 + 4*(-6)^2 - 15*(-6) + 19

-216 + 4*36 + 90 + 19

-216 + 144 + 109

37

Given the polynomial F(x) = 7x2 + 13x - 50, find F(0).

All x terms are zero, leaving only -50

1)

f(x) = 3x^3 - 2x^2 - 8x - 13

f(5) = 3(5)^3 - 2(5)^2 - 8(5) - 13

f(5) = 3(125) - 2(25) - 40 - 13

f(5) = 375 - 50 - 40 - 13

f(5) = 272

2)

f(x) = x^3 + 4x^2 - 15x + 19

f(-6) = (-6)^3 + 4(-6)^2 - 15(-6) + 19

f(-6) = -216 + 4(36) + 80 + 19

f(-6) = -216 + 144 + 89

f(-6) = 17

3)

f(x) = 7x^2 + 13x - 50

f(0) = 7(0)^2 + 13(0) - 50

f(0) = 7(0) + 13(0) - 50

f(0) = -50

4)

f(x) = x^56 - 5x^2 + 4

f(1) = 1^56 - 5(1)^2 + 4

f(1) = 1 - 5 + 4

f(1) = 0

All you have to do is put what's in the F( ) for x in each polynomial. In this case you have to use 5 instead of x in the first question.

For the second question you should use -6.

For the third one you should use 0.

For the last one you should use 1.

Come on! You can solve this! Do your own homework!!

f(x) = 3x³ - 2x² - 8x - 13

f(5) = 3(5)³ - 2(5)² - 8(5) - 13

f(5) = 375 - 50 - 40 - 13

f(5) = 272

----------------------------------

f(x) = x³ + 4x² - 15x + 19

f(-6) = (-6)³ + 4(-6)² - 15(-6) + 19

f(-6) = -216 + 144 + 90 + 19

f(-6) = 37

------------------------------------------------

f(x) = 7x² + 13x - 50

f(0) = 7(0)² + 13(0) - 50

f(0) = -50

------------------------------------------------

f(x) = x⁵⁶ - 5x² + 4

f(1) = 1⁵⁶ -5(1)² + 4

f(1) = 1 - 5 + 4

f(1) = 0

Blue female beat me to it. you will discover the extreme new WolframAlpha website can answer maximum math homework questions, consisting of this one. that is totally instructive, e.g. it is going to in many situations tutor its artwork in case you ask, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that that's truthfully abused instead for doing all your homework and determining and understanding issues your self, style of like employing a calculator instead for gaining information of your situations tables. As a verify on artwork, or for its educational fee, that is large, yet use it properly.
